Support Boréale

Every app here is free, all of it, and stays so. A donation pays for what code cannot: the consoles to test it on.

Two ways to give

GitHub Sponsors
Monthly or once, from your GitHub account. Monthly support is what keeps the testing going from one device to the next.
Ko-fi
Once, with or without an account. Each Ko-fi goal is one device: once it is reached, the device is bought.

The hardware to test on

Aurore, and the apps built with it, run on more systems than there are here to try them on, and what never runs on the real thing only hopefully works. What is missing, in the order it is wanted:

  1. New Nintendo 2DS XL

For Aurore's port to the 3DS, its reference console: nothing has run on one yet.

    Next goal
  2. An Android phone with a notch

For the screen's cut-outs and edges, on Android 9 and later.

    Wanted
  3. PS Vita

One of Aurore's systems, never yet tried on the console.

    Wanted
  4. PS4

The same, on a firmware that runs homebrew.

    Wanted
  5. Apple TV

Aurore's tvOS build, never yet tried.

    Later
  6. A Mac

macOS, today tested only by the build servers.

    Later

Already here: a Switch, an iPhone, a PC and an Xbox Series X.

What a donation is, and is not

A gift, not a purchase: it unlocks no feature, no support and no early build; everyone already has them all. Your name in the thanks, if you want it, is all it brings.

When a device is bought, this page says so, and again once the apps are tested on it. What is left over goes to the next one.

GitHub or Ko-fi takes the payment. What they pass on, and what is done with it: privacy.
